I´m going on a little blog break. I´m off to Mexico for a few weeks (need to practice my Spanish ;)) and then have a few smaller trips planned. So brace yourself for all the travel photos!

Joyce will be hosting CV while I´m gone. Thanks again darlin!

The winners, which were chosen by my high tech selector (ie. Daniel picking random numbers... Coco couldn´t be bothered) from the CV giveaway are l´atelier, skylar, and juanita. When I start to miss big bookstores, mocha chinos, trendy shops, baseball caps, yoga mats, stationery stores, strawberry pancakes, or The Sunday New York Times (it´s just not the same online)... We always end up here...

corner view one year anniversary

There used to be an American TV program where a reporter would throw a dart at a US map and then go to where ever it landed. Then, once there, he´d find a phone book, open it up to a random page, and point to a random name. He´d then find this person and tell their story. North, South, city, country, old, young.... they always had a story.

And that´s how I thought up Corner View. I wanted to hear your stories. Who knew it would become the catalyst to connecting to so many wonderful people, from Oman to Kansas, to so many places in between.

Thank you for showing up each week and sharing your kind words, your nutty comments, and... your stories.

I´ll be following Pien´s lead (All of you who know her, will not surprised by her generous spirit.), and will also be having a giveaway of a few of my prints to say thank you!... I love you guys!

*Which will probably take a while... Jorge is doing the Montignac diet and we haven´t eaten rice in 8 months!.... or potatoes... or bread.... please invite me over and feed me....;)

corner view "vending machines"

I wanted to find some "pretty" vending machines to show you.... but it was impossible. Just a few years ago you could only find vending machines in airports and hospitals. Now they are popping up on every street corner selling everything from pizzas to coffee. Can you say "cheap date?"... Thanks JGY for this fun idea!
